I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants across Europe. Some have been great, others just okay, and a few were downright terrible. But no matter what, I’m always on the hunt for a good meal, and I want to share some of the best spots I’ve discovered on my travels. Here’s my list of 32 must-try restaurants in Europe — in no particular order.
1. Moeders (Amsterdam, Netherlands)
Moeders, meaning “mothers” in Dutch, serves classic Dutch comfort food in a cozy spot filled with portraits of people’s moms. It’s a small place, so reservations are a must. The Dutch sampler for two is the best value and gives you a taste of everything from potatoes to meat stews.
